One of the worst schools we've ever encountered.no communication at all. The kids are treated like they are in prison.the staff is terrible.they don't care about the kids at all.alabaster city school is by far the worst school system.it may look ok from the outside but do yourself a favor and do better for your children. You'll regret putting them here to be treated poorly. Bullying is allowed to go on even by the teachers. They don't care if your student has medical needs either. It's all about what they can get out of the state for your child attending. Nothing more. They don't care if your child learns or not. Go check out the Facebook pages. It'll tell you a lot first hand by a lot of parents who's children are suffering being here. They're stripping our children of their innocence.

The school and teachers are GREAT!!!! HOWEVER, the after-school program is HORRIBLE and very dangerous. It is run by a couple of teenagers who stay on their phones all day. The other teenagers who supervise the kids receive no help or training. The one adult who oversees the program, when confronted about safety issues, lies and claims that everything is fine and that procedures are in place.

There is no police presence on-site, and the kids are left outside with no supervision. They NEVER conduct drills or properly train their employees. The program is understaffed, and if an emergency were to occur, nobody would have any idea what to do. It is a very toxic environment for the workers, as they report to another lazy teenager. The staff is constantly trying to cover up their mistakes by blaming everything on the teenagers who actually work.

Their only concern is liability. Whenever there is a fight, they focus on covering up the truth to prevent parents from complaining. I would NEVER leave my child here after school. I know many parents depend on this service, but be aware that this is NOT the same wonderful team that takes care of your kids during the day. BEWARE!

All alabaster city schools are trash despite how they look from the outside. But TIS takes lead for the worst. The teachers are terrible and heartless towards our children.

Wonderful Learning Atomosphere...
Administration is Awesome...Wonderful Principal(Hayes). You can usually find her in the hallways ?. I promise you she will be there, sailing the ship..

A Terrific Student Body, where students are really developing towards being pungent applications for tomorrow's world. Students love to help each other learn and are friendly towards each other.

Teachers are like no other here...They keep their students on their toes, as formality reigns Supreme here. The students are happy here, they light up with enthusiasm, I loved it.

My experience at TIS is amazing so far my name is kyderria and I love TIS because it is an amazing school and I have one more year in TIS and I am so excited for it!!❤️❤️
